Political Dominoes Will Soon Fall in 7th Congressional District

Democratic candidates running for Illinois' 7th Congressional District are still trying to figure out who their opponents are.

Incumbent Congressman Danny Davis has filed petitions for two public offices. One for re-election and one for Cook County Board President. He's kept quiet as to how he's hedging his bets.

DAVIS: I can't really say that I'm leaning in any direction.

Meantime, his ten Democratic opponents are anxiously waiting to see what Davis decides and making their own plans. State Senator Rickey Hendon has filed papers the 7th District and for Lieutenant Governor.

HENDON: Everybody sees opportunity and nothing's wrong with that.

State Representative Annazette Collins is running for Congress and for re-election. All of those candidates have until Monday to choose just one office to run for.
